Furniture making grew out of requests from customers: Customers with larch or oak stairs and flooring often want their dining table made from the same timber too.
What we make
Solid wood beds
Headboard, frame and dimensions to suit your bedroom. Matching bedside tables or under-bed storage available on request.
Dining tables
Solid wood tops with wood or steel frames. From a table for four to one long enough for twelve.
Benches
Matched to the table, with or without a backrest. Often made for a traditional parlour or a dining nook.
The same timber as your stairs
Our own larch and spruce, plus oak, walnut and other fine hardwoods depending on the project. Timber and finish can be matched to the stairs and flooring in the same house.

Our furniture is made in the Gais workshop, using the same machines and by the same people as our stairs and flooring. We deliberately keep the range focused: a few furniture types, each piece made to measure for its room.
