Karl Hecher
He built the business and still works in the workshop today. From the outset, his aim was to make every staircase in-house: solid wood, bespoke craftsmanship and a clear assessment before work begins.
What began in a small workshop at home is now a business in the Gewerbegebiet an der Ahr industrial area, producing its own solid wood floorboards. His benchmark for every project has remained the same: sound craftsmanship.

Martin Hecher joins the management
He represents the second generation in the business and is the first point of contact for most projects. He has introduced newer areas of work: new staircase designs, computer-aided planning and furniture making.
